I have been working on this project for awhile because other projects kept coming up, but once I got into it, it really works up fast. Sweet Potato 3 Patterns did an awesome job with the texture on this set, I just LOVE it! Perfect for any little boy (or older one too since the pattern goes from Toddlers to Adults). She created the set with the perfect amount of stripes on it to create the right amount of detail to go with the texture. To work up this pattern you just need to know simple crochet stitches like Single Crochet (sc) and Half Double Crochet (hdc).
I can definitely see myself making more of these sets (especially since the majority of my family lives on the East Coast. hehehe).

Like her patterns? Well, Sweet Potato 3 Patterns also has an awesome Pattern Club! This Pattern Club is for 3 months and during that time you will get at least 3 NEWLY RELEASED Patterns from her! If she releases more then 3 patterns during the month then you will also get those. This is an awesome deal if you ask me! 🙂
I have been working on some fun pattern tests for Sew Much Love Patterns and Hooked Up Crochet Couture. They have been collaborating on some fantastic patterns! The first one that I got the pleasure of working on and that I am going to share with you is the Pencil Scarf. This was a fun pattern to work up and would make a perfect gift for any teacher or lover of pencils! hehehe
I just loved how it has so many details that a real pencil has, right down to the ribbed markings on the metal band that holds the eraser in! The eraser is even made with a bulky yarn which makes it feel more like a soft eraser compared to the worsted weight yarn used for the rest of the pencil. Because of how it was designed you can easily adjust the length of the pencil depending on who you are making it for.
You can find the Pencil Scarf pattern by heading to any of Sew Much Love Patterns shops using the following links!

My oldest just had to be a model with the pencil scarf! hehehe
